ResponsibilitiesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Jockey tractors, trailers, trucks to and from the docks, drive-thru, and compound areas
  • Safely and efficiently manage traffic flow in the yard
  • Co-ordinate with drivers (common carrier and PBC) to check in/check out at appropriate door
  • Ensure PBC trailers in the yard are in assigned spots
  • Communicate loading information to and from the Delivery/Production Departments and Shipper/Receiver/Checker
  • Reports tractor/trailer damages/deficiencies to the fleet department
  • Red tag tractors/trailers as required
  • Work within a team environment
  • Complete and hand in circle check report at the beginning of the shift
  • Follow Control & Compliance Rules and Regulations
  • Maintain work area in a neat and tidy condition
  • Other tasks as directed by Lead Hand / Supervisor
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Available for overnight shifts: 10pm-6am Sunday to Thursday
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid AZ Ontario License- driver abstract requested
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 35 lbs frequently
