Ready to suit up as a Security Guard in Sudbury?We are looking for a Full-Time Security Guard in Sudbury to work at a busy office building in the downtown area. This post pays $18.00 hourly and is perfect for the security professional that enjoys working with the public.Schedule: FULL TIME continental rotation with two weeks days then two weeks nights (Week #1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Week #2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday). Shifts are 0700-1900 on days, 1900-0700 on nights.Applicants MUST be able to work the full schedule in order to be selected.Pay: $18.00/HourSuccessful applicants will have well developed written and verbal communication skills, an outgoing demeanor and a background in security or customer service.We provide people with growth opportunities. 30% of our frontline employees are promoted to become part of our operation teams.What's in it for you?

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Sudbury
  • Direct visitors and/or employees
  • Ensure the protection of people, property and premises
  • Control the entrances and exits with the equipment at your disposal
  • Actively deter unwanted and antisocial behaviour through regular patrols and an active presence
  • Observe and Report potential hazards to facility management
  • Respond to and take charge of emergency situations
Qualifications for Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification required
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
  • Strong proficiency with technology
