Our client in the automotive industry in Collingwood, ON is seeking a Materials Team Leader to join their team. If you have experience ordering and managing materials as well as supervisory skills, then read on!Perks:

What's the Job?
  • Supervise 10 hourly staff
  • organize and manage delivery/transport of finished product to customer; maintain company forklift program + provide training
  • monitor shipment schedules; update blocking and bracing manuals
  • manage warehouse storage and capacity space; manage departmental expenses
  • collaborate with manufacturing departments; work with Production Scheduler for customer shipment/delivery requirements
  • work with transportation partners to maintain and enhance the claim free on time delivery of product to customers
  • leader of pkg maintenance/modifications/inventory for the facility with support from central team
  • supervise materials production area, trucks scheduling, logistics/customer service and inventory functions to produce best cost product
  • manage flow of raw packaging materials and supplies into the facility
  • ensure good implementation of SAP for materials dept. regarding shipment documents, materials warehouse, inventory, customer service
What's Needed?
  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 yrs of supervisory experience
  • MS Office software experience; SAP experience
  • IATF16949 experience
  • solid communication skills
  • experience with problem soling related to manufacturing processes
