We are currently hiring Cooks for temporary assignments in Edmonton, AB. This role is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who are dependable, organized, and committed to preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.Location: Edmonton, AB
Pay Rate: $24.92/hour
Schedule: Morning & Afternoon Shifts | Weekdays & Weekends AvailableResponsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met
Follow safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Assist with inventory control and proper food storage
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff

Requirements:

Previous cooking experience required (institutional, healthcare, or commercial kitchen experience considered an asset)
Valid Food Safe Certification (or equivalent)
Must be able to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
