Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Procurement Manager on behalf of our client in North York, ON. As part of the Finance and Administration team, the Procurement Manager serves as a trusted subject-matter expert and advisor, leveraging competitive sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and data-driven insights to maximize value, reduce total cost of ownership, and mitigate risk. You will play a key role in strengthening procurement governance, driving efficiencies, and providing exceptional service to internal stakeholders.Pay Rate: $40.87-$43.27/hour (based on experience)Location: North York, ONShift: hybrid role (2 times in office, 3 days work from home)Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1 year contract, with a possibility of extension based on business needsVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Responsibilities:Procurement Leadership & StrategyServe as the primary point of contact for indirect procurement activities across PCL, PCNT, and PFSCLead procurement planning activities, including reporting requirements to the companyConduct RFIs and RFPs, lead negotiations, and prepare supplier recommendations and approval documentationSupport sourcing committee activities, where applicableIdentify cost-saving opportunities and analyze spend to enable tactical buying decisionsMaximize procurement efficiency through use of data, systems, and policy complianceVendor & Contract ManagementOversee vendor onboarding, performance management, and ongoing supplier relationshipsManage procurement contracts in line with PCL contract governance standardsEnsure proper governance, retention, and confidentiality of vendor files, contracts, and business-sensitive informationProcesses, Systems & ReportingSupport procurement processes and systems, including KPI development and reportingMaintain accurate tracking and documentation for procurement activity and outcomesLeverage procurement platforms and tools to improve transparency and controlTraining & Stakeholder CollaborationDevelop, maintain, and deliver training materials for company employees on:Procurement DirectivesInternal control requirementsProcurement policies and proceduresProactively collaborate with PCNA and PAG Procurement teams to implement new policies, tools, and regional procurement strategiesSupport alignment with global procurement initiatives and shared contractsQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related fieldMaster's degree is considered an asset5+ years of experience in indirect procurement2+ years of automotive or related industry experience preferredExperience in process improvement and/or project managementExperience using the Zycus eProcurement platform is considered an assetStrong understanding of procurement, sourcing, and negotiation techniquesComprehensive knowledge of business principles and practicesStrong project management capabilitiesExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in EnglishAdvanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and M365 Copilot (AI tools)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to negotiate effectively and manage complex or sensitive situationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities with limited direct supervisionExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and senior executivesDemonstrated experience working in cross-functional teamsProven ability to read, interpret, and manage contract terms and conditionsMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaHere's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processAre you interested in this position?
