Brief Description:Our employer is in the area of Legal Systems. They are looking for a senior business analyst to lead the Legal workstream of a high-impact Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) initiative. This role will focus on the integration and migration of legal operational data and matter management systems into our enterprise legal technology ecosystem, which includes TeamConnect, TAP (ThinkSmart Automation Platform), and ACL.Job Function:
- Lead the Legal Systems Integration Workstream within the broader M&A program, ensuring alignment with legal, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
- Analyze and document the current-state legal operations, systems, and data structures of the acquired company.
- Plan and manage data migration of legal matters, documents, and metadata, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with legal operations, IT, compliance, and external vendors to define and execute migration strategies.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, create BRDs, functional specs, and process maps.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Facilitate testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking for implementations and updates.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
Job Requirement:Qualifications:
- BSA/BA who has experience with TeamConnect, TAP, and ACL in a legal or compliance environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Experience in M&A or legal systems integration.
- Proven experience with TeamConnect, TAP, and ACL in a legal or compliance environment.
- Strong understanding of legal matter management, workflow automation, and data governance.
- Experience with data migration projects, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience with UAT coordination, process documentation, training, and user enablement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in or with corporate legal departments or law firms.
PMP, CBAP, or similar certification is a plus.Required soft skills:
