- Own and drive the Alberta growth strategy, with a focus on provincial and system-level opportunities
- Identify, shape, and advance opportunities within health-related Government of Alberta ministries and related agencies
- Translate system priorities (e.g., access, workforce pressures, rural care, digital health, aging-in-place) into collaborative partnership strategies and actionable growth plans
- Leverage your government network to accelerate insights, relationship-building, and partnership development to accelerate access, insights, and deal progression
- Establish and deepen senior relationships across across health-related Government of Alberta ministries and key ecosystem stakeholders
- Act as a credible, informed partner by aligning solutions to system priorities and political realities
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities and incentives
- Lead the development of tailored value propositions that demonstrate TELUS solutions address provincial priorities and align with funding models
- Shape opportunities before formal procurement processes begin
- Support and influence RFP strategies, partnerships, and contract structures
- Work cross-functionally to align internal teams around winning strategies
- Represent the organization in Alberta's healthcare ecosystem through forums, roundtables, and industry events
- Contribute to the broader narrative around healthcare transformation in Alberta
- Identify policy, funding, and regulatory shifts that create opportunity or risk
- You have spent 5 or more years working in Alberta's public healthcare system, government, government relations, and/or closely related sectors
- You have established relationships with Ministry-level stakeholders
- You bring a demonstrated ability to influence decisions, not just respond to them
- You have a deep understanding of Alberta's healthcare structure, funding mechanisms, and political landscape
- You are a highly effective communicator and facilitator, with a storytelling talent to distill complexity into clarity
- You are a strategic thinker with the ability to translate healthcare trends and client feedback into business opportunities
- You are known for resilience, being self-directed, and are comfortable managing ambiguity
- You are willing to travel within Canada to meet clients and attend industry events
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Policy, Health Administration, or related field; an MBA or clinical designation would be a considerable asset
