Job Title: Commercial Millwork CabinetmakerLocation: North York, ONCompensation: $25 - $35 an hour depending up on skills and interview.About the Role:GenEra Recruitment is seeking a skilled Commercial Millwork Cabinetmaker for our client in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will be experienced in custom woodworking and cabinetry for commercial applications.Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and finish custom wood and laminate cabinetry
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Fabricate and assemble cabinets, millwork components, and fixtures according to project specs
  • Ensure quality control throughout production and final product assembly
  • Work closely with shop supervisors, project managers, and installation teams
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all health and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial millwork or as a cabinetmaker.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using woodworking machinery
  • Experience with a variety of materials, including wood, laminates, and solid surfaces
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and stand for extended periods
