VOLUNTEER POSITIONWork in a collaborative environment to raise awareness and funds for the Child Life Program in Kingston General Hospital. Committee members will work together to organize and execute virtual events within the Queen's community to promote Kids for Kids and their message.Applications will be available until September 15th at 4:00 pm.An approximately 8-month term from September 2024 to April 2025 with a time commitment of 2-3 hours per week.Positions Available

Time Commitment and Responsibilities
  • Attend committee meetings and events
  • Work within sub committees to organize event planning, marketing or finances
  • Bring suggestions for contests and events, attend and help organize all events
Events Coordinator:
  • Plan and organize virtual fundraising events with a team of three to raise money for Kingston General Hospital's Child Life Program.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure event success while promoting Kids for Kids' message across the Queen's community.
Marketing Coordinator:
  • Manage and create content for social media accounts to effectively promote the Kids for Kids brand.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness around campus and within the community.
Volunteer Coordinator:
  • Oversee recruitment, scheduling, and management of the volunteer team to support the execution of events and community outreach.
  • Maintain communication with community contacts, ensuring volunteers are engaged and well-supported.
Finance Coordinator:
  • Monitor the financial standing of Kids for Kids and handle budgeting for fundraising initiatives.
  • Secure community partners for financial support and collaboration in events aimed at supporting Kingston General Hospital's Child Life Program.
Volunteers:
  • Assist in the execution of virtual events and fundraising efforts by providing hands-on support.
  • Actively promote Kids for Kids' mission and participate in outreach efforts to raise awareness for the Child Life Program.
