Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist (IT)Location: Alberta, HybridSeniority on the skill/s required on this requirement: SeniorEstimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensionWork authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in CA)Job Summary:Court Technology Services (CTS), in collaboration with the Technology and Innovation procurement team, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of Technology Procurements for CTS. This resource will be dedicated to completing procurements for Court Technology Services (CTS).Responsibilities:Develop procurement and contracting documentation most suitable to ensure business objectives are met through a transparent, fair and efficient open procurement process.Assist with the development of recommendations including providing details of resource requirements, dependencies, interdependencies, policy implications pertaining to the procurement and contracting methodology to be applied.Produce and package procurement deliverables for presentation to various internal support teams, steering committee, and other project stakeholders.Manage the procurement aspects of multiple projects, project managers and project governance.Collaborate with business and IT leadership to develop a well-defined project plan that clearly states the project's objectives, scope, assumptions, timeline, resource requirements, risks, benefits and budget in relation to the procurement process.Document and report project status against established objectives, milestones, budget and resources and facilitate tracking and closure of issues in relation to the procurement process.Support the development of project schedule plans and strategies, estimate resource requirements, develop and monitor work plans for completion of project tasks in relation to the procurement process.Provide guidance to project resources in establishing work priorities and prompt delivery of project tasks as they relate to the procurement and contracting processes.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, Science, Procurement, or related field.Experience leading RFPs, NRFPs, RFIs, RFQs, RFXs, evaluations, debriefings, and contract negotiationsExperience drafting, reviewing, and managing vendor contracts in a complex environment.Providing procurement advice to internal clients, senior leadership, and cross functional teamsExperience procuring goods/services under Canadian public sector entities (e.g., trade agreements, procurement legislation, contract law, public sector policies)Experience applying NWPTA, CETA, CFTA and/or CUSMA to procurement activitiesCertified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMA), Certified Public Procurement Officer, or other recognized procurement certificationExperience procuring for modernization projects, digital programs, or cloud based solutionsAbility to evaluate cost models, contract risks, and pricing structuresExperience procuring software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, integrations, or digital platformsMindtris, a minority women-owned enterprise, is at the forefront of digital transformation, technology excellence, and business growth solutions.
