- Assist in conducting proofs of concept to optimize the utilization of ServiceNow modules for the business.
- Custom Development & Configuration (ServiceNow): Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom ServiceNow applications, including building new features, scripting, and enhancing existing modules.
- Platform Expertise (ServiceNow): Develop and manage Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and other scripted elements to drive efficient and scalable solutions.
- ServiceNow UI Customization: Create and maintain custom UI pages using ServiceNow’s UI Builder, Content Management System (CMS), and CSS for enhanced user experiences.
- Demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing strong time management skills.
- Cross-Platform Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs across multiple platforms, ensuring holistic and robust solutions that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across the ServiceNow platform and other software applications, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Agile Development & Collaboration: Work in an agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.
- Computer Science Diploma or Degree, or related work experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification or training.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
- ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator certified or trained.
- ServiceNow Scripting certification or training is a plus
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Certification is an asset.
- ServiceNow CMDB implementation experience.
- ServiceNow Service Mapping design experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow modules and applications, such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, etc.
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in general module configuration on the ServiceNow Platform.
- Strong knowledge and experience in integrating various systems with the ServiceNow Platform, including REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, workflows, etc.
- Ability to conduct research and development to explore innovative ways to leverage the ServiceNow platform.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations and/or migrations.
- Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, such as Java, C++, Python, R, SQL, is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development, customization, and administration, including ITSM Packages, JavaScript, ACL, Workflow, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Glide, SQL, XML, JSON, Version upgrade, and patching.
