Our client is seeking a Manager, Fund Administration to join their Asset Management team on a contract basis. Reporting to the Director, Fund Administration, this role will support the oversight of fund administration operations and assist with managing a small team responsible for the daily oversight of NAV calculations across multiple investment products. The successful candidate will also support a major operational transition project involving the migration of custody and fund administration services to a new service provider.Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:· Oversee day-to-day activities of the Fund Administration team, including daily oversight of NAV calculations across mutual funds, corporate class funds, and segregated funds.· Review NAV exceptions and errors, assess their financial impact, and coordinate resolution with internal and external partners.· Support and oversee fund lifecycle changes including new fund launches, fund closures, mergers, and name changes.· Review regulatory documentation such as prospectuses and annual information forms in relation to fund changes.· Participate in internal working groups related to operational transitions and fund restructuring initiatives.· Coordinate fund setup and changes with internal stakeholders and external service providers including fund administrators and data service providers.· Review and sign off on merger activities, ensuring general ledger balances are accurate and tax implications and audit requirements are properly addressed.· Support relationship management with external fund administration partners and service providers.· Provide backup support to the Director, Fund Administration and assist with broader team leadership and oversight responsibilities as required.Our Client:
