Our client is seeking a full-time Site Supervisor based in Winnipeg, MB.Reporting directly to the President, you will play a key role in overseeing construction projects while contributing to estimating and project coordination across a variety of commercial builds.You will be primarily responsible for managing daily site operations, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the company’s high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate all aspects of construction projects from permitting to completionSupervise contractors, sub-trades, and consultants on siteParticipate in estimating and bidding activitiesManage project documentation, scheduling, and reportingMaintain site organization and enforce COR safety standardsServe as the main point of contact for owners, inspectors, and tradesLead site meetings and track action itemsIdentify and resolve issues proactively with a team-focused mindsetAbout You
To qualify, you will need:Diploma in Construction Management or Architectural/Engineering TechnologyIdeally 1–3+ years of supervisory experience in commercial constructionValid Manitoba driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicleWillingness and ability to travel to local project sites within one hour of WinnipegHighly valued skills and experience:Site coordination, project support, or estimating experienceFamiliarity with commercial construction processes and job site operationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS ProjectKnowledge of COR safety standards and site safety protocolsExperience coordinating sub-trades, consultants, and inspectorsCompletion of a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or project management programAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong initiative and ability to manage tasks independentlyThe ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with trades, clients, and internal teams.
