
Accounts Payable Coordinator - 6 Month Contract

- You are detail oriented, you process employee expenses, and you handle a high volume of assigned invoices accurately.
- You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the AP mailbox for the AP team, on a daily basis.
- Experienced in reconciliation of vendor accounts, monthly supplier statement reporting, you will assist in month-end closing of ledgers, control of accounts and reporting, preparation of payment proposals, payment data entry, EFT runs, distribution of electronic remittances, on-line bill payments, cheque runs and reconciliation of purchasing card (AMEX Pcard).
- Other duties as required/assigned.
- Between 1 to 3 years' experience in full cycle accounts payables.
- Accounting Diploma from a registered Canadian College.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written); French is an asset.
- Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (power pivot, advanced formulas) and ERP accounting systems.
- Ability to manage high volume periods, especially at month-end.
