
Service Operations Manager, Western Canada (Hybrid)

- Develop and execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies, both on-site and remotely connected.
- Drive execution of the business plan including revenue forecast, profit, cost control, asset management, and other financial deliverables based on targets.
- Achieve balanced operations targets (includes slip, absorption, utilization, rates, productivity, and headcount).
- Build and maintain a service operations organization committed to customer and employee satisfaction and profitable growth across the area.
- Develop strong internal and external customer relationships and identify needs and resolve issues.
- Supervise and develop Client Service Manager teams using company's tools and empowering them to provide exceptional customer service.
- Attend and support sales team in cost reviews and sales strategies to optimize cost savings and correct cost structuring for contracts and small works projects.
- Schedule and run monthly contract and small works meetings with the Client Service Managers and Project Managers.
- Support and advise the dispatch teams to resolve scheduling issues or customer concerns.
- Create and maintain as strong after-hours on-call team across all cities within the area to provide exceptional response time.
- Ensure teams executes and quotes deficiencies and repairs per customer and area requirements.
- Ensure team operates and maintains assigned vehicles per the fleet policy.
- Define training requirements and budgets for each team, ensuring comprehensive training for new tools and technology role outs.
- Successfully complete assigned training and ensure team completes assigned training as outlined in each person's training path.
- Lead service teams to follow all safety requirements as outlined by Siemens and customer site requirements.
- Manage and advise on hiring, training/development, allocation, and performance assessment of personnel within area of responsibility.
- Bachelors or Masters in Business or Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry knowledge and experience with one or all of the following: Automation, HVAC, Fire, Security and Mechanical systems.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills. Proficient with MS Office, PowerBI and SAP.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and local rules and regulations applicable to the geographic area as well as all company policies and procedures. Acts as a company representative and liaison to customers and local authorities.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a complex organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to device customer service strategies
