- Lead and inspire commercial team members to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional member experiences.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, accountability, and continuous improvement across the district.
- Provide strategic mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to develop leadership capability and team effectiveness.
- Oversee and optimize the district’s commercial portfolio, ensuring alignment with Beem’s credit and risk framework.
- Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive and support strategic initiatives for growth in their assigned commercial and syndicated lending segments.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with Beem’s risk management policies.
- Collaborate with credit teams to maintain high-quality underwriting standards and mitigate risk exposure.
- Review complex credit proposals and provide recommendations to senior leadership and to Credit Risk.
- Develop and execute district-level business development strategies to expand market share and attract new commercial clients.
- Represent Beem at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Leverage digital tools and analytics and market insights to identify growth opportunities and improve member engagement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; MBA or professional designation preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple branches or teams.
- Minimum 3–5 years of strong leadership experience, managing teams and driving initiatives.
- Expert knowledge of commercial credit processes, risk governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record in portfolio management, business development, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial lending, syndicated loans, and risk management practices.
