As the Senior Legal Counsel, Digital, you will support with identifying and addressing legal needs across our Digital Division, with a particular emphasis on ensuring compliance with U.S. consumer protection and privacy laws. With the skills you gain in this role, the opportunities are endless — from a rewarding career in law to continued growth with Aritzia.THE ROLEAs the Senior Legal Counsel/Legal Counsel, Digital, you will:Develop an integrated offensive and defensive legal strategy to drive and protect Aritzia’s Digital DivisionSupport the Digital Division’s business activities and transactions with third partiesChampion compliance with privacy laws across the Digital DivisionChampion legal compliance across the Digital Division and drive positive outcomes in litigationTHE QUALIFICATIONSThe Senior Legal Counsel/Legal Counsel, Digital, has:Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in commercial and privacy law.Law Degree from a recognized universityLicense to practice law in the U.S.A deep knowledge of applicable data privacy regulations and standards, including PIPEDA, PIPL, CCPA and GDPRPrivacy certification is an assetA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessTHE COMPENSATIONAt Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy. The range for roles at this level is $100,000–$300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
