About the RoleAs a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment process and own workforce scheduling to ensure operational needs are met across all sites. You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and building schedules that ensure proper coverage while aligning with business requirements.You’ll work closely with hiring managers and operations leaders to understand manpower and scheduling needs, cultivate strong talent pipelines, and ensure schedules are accurate, compliant, and efficiently managed. This role is pivotal to achieving our growth objectives and promoting a culture that values continuous improvement.What You'll DoRecruitment and Onboarding· High volume recruiting for over thirty guards in a month in challenging geographies and regions.· Collaborate with hiring managers to craft a clear, engaging hiring and onboarding experience that aligns with company standards and culture.· Drive the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting top candidates to hiring managers.· Manage job postings across various channels, including tracking and optimizing sponsored job posts to ensure cost efficiency.· Utilize the ATS to maintain a consistent talent pipeline, monitor key recruitment metrics, and ensure timely, data-driven decisions.· Ensure all hiring practices adhere to ethical and legal standards.· Prepare and administer onboarding materials for new hires, ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately and promptly.· Collaborate with the P&C team in implementing creative talent attraction methods that strengthen Guardteck's recruitment brand.· Lead in implementing creative talent attraction methods that strengthen Guardteck's recruitment brand.· Organize and attend career fairs as a brand ambassador to build and nurture a network of high-quality talent.· Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates across multiple channels.· Conduct deep market research to understand talent availability, competitive landscape, and emerging skill trends in the security industry· Use Boolean searches, advanced filters, and AI sourcing tools to uncover hard to find talent.Scheduling and Workforce Planning· Own and manage employee scheduling using WinTeam to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency across all sites.· Build, maintain, and adjust schedules in WinTeam based on staffing levels, site requirements, availability, leaves, and business needs.· Work closely with operations and site managers to forecast staffing needs and proactively address coverage gaps.· Manage schedule changes related to new hires, terminations, absences, and shift changes directly within WinTeam.· Ensure schedules comply with employment standards, company policies, and site-specific requirements.· Maintain accurate scheduling and workforce data in WinTeam and associated HR systems.· Align recruitment efforts directly with current and future scheduling demands to minimize overtime and understaffing.Metrics and Data Analysis· Monitor and report key performance indicators in recruitment, such as time-to-fill, turnover rates, and cost-per-hire, providing insights to enhance recruitment efficiency.· Analyze staffing levels, schedule effectiveness, and early retention data to continuously refine recruitment and scheduling strategies.Additional Responsibilities:· Support ad hoc HR and recruitment-related projects as required.· Collaborate on initiatives aimed at enhancing the recruitment process and candidate experience.What Makes You a Great Fit· Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.· Hands-on experience creating and managing employee schedules in WinTeam within a high-volume, operational environment.· Proficiency in ATS, HR systems, and recruitment data analysis.· Experience with Dayforce and WinTeam is a strong asset.· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.· Knowledge of applicable employment standards and HR best practices.· Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.· 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or related field.
