Our client is seeking a CPA-designated finance leader to oversee full-cycle accounting and reporting for a mid-sized, multi-branch organization. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational support across the business.About the Opportunity
- Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Lead accounting functions including reporting, payroll, AP/AR, and tax compliance
- Oversee audits and maintain relationships with external partners
- Ensure adherence to IFRS and regulatory standards
- Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership for decision-making
- Mentor and develop the accounting team
- Take a hands-on role in day-to-day processes and month-end activities
- CPA designation and bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
- Skilled with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Strong communicator with a collaborative approach
