This is a Regular Full-Time OpportunityType: NewThe OpportunityThe Manager of Philanthropy - Corporate Partnerships plays an integral role on the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, responsible for prospecting, cultivating, engaging and retaining corporate partners to further the mission of Women’s College Hospital Foundation. This role requires relationship building, strategic thinking, creativity and marketing savvy in order to inspire or initiate innovative, multi-faceted partnerships. With a focus on developing best-in-class sponsorship assets, corporate philanthropy, cause marketing and donor activation experience, the Manager will build strategies and partnerships to align values and actions with a target to grow the annual revenue. over time for the funding priorities of Women’s College Hospital. This position reports to the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships and will collaborate closely with the WCH/F leadership teams, as well as key volunteers and stakeholders.Core Deliverables:
  • Lead the execution and strategy development for corporate engagement and partnerships in support of the Foundation’s strategic plan
  • Account management and strategy development for a pipeline of prospects
  • Develop compelling business proposals that secure support and deliver an outstanding sponsor/donor experience
  • Focus on corporate philanthropy and sponsorship with $25,000+ capacity through existing and new business development for event sponsorship, major philanthropic partnerships, cause marketing, as well as supporting employee engagement, workplace giving, corporate matching and
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and fulfillment and impact reports.
  • Collaborate with the Foundation leadership and hospital to identify new sponsorable assets and work with executives to develop appropriate activation opportunities
  • Engage and support a minimum of one Foundation volunteer to identify and cultivate prospects
  • Oversee portfolio moves management in terms of identification, discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, working collaboratively with all Foundation departments (Senior Leadership, Philanthropy, Donor Services, Marketing and Communications, Stewardship) to ensure an accountable and unparalleled donor experience.
  • Use and maintain Raiser’s Edge records as part of the project management and donor clearance process
  • Contribute to efficient organizational processes and procedures, as well as bring an approach of innovation and creative thinking.

Qualifications and Core Competencies
  • Post-secondary education with a focus in fundraising, sponsorship, sales, business development or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of job-related experience in fundraising, sales, sponsorship, marketing, and business development or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience.
  • Proven experience in securing successful sponsorships and corporate relationship development
  • Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently, superior organizational skills, strict attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial, creative and strategic with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, sponsorship proposal writing experience.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and database management, experience with Raiser’s Edge considered an asset.
  • Availability to travel within the GTA and work outside of normal business hours as needed.
Salary Range: $82,500 - $90,000. Eligibility for merit pay and comprehensive benefits, including Healthcare Ontario Pension Plan enrollmentAs a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of vaccination to the Hospital’s Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness department.
