This is a part-time role, typically three to four days a week, with hours from around 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The current required days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with some flexibility to discuss availability on Saturdays if that works better for you. This young man you'll be supporting is bright, friendly, and enjoys a calm, consistent routine. He's physically active and loves going for walks-being outside is one of his favourite parts of the day, and regular walks also support his digestion and overall well-being. He relaxes with creative activities like crafts and enjoys participating in simple household tasks when guided. With the right support, he's eager to engage and take part in his daily routine. Meal prep is a key part of the role, as he follows a specific diet. Meals are simple but need to be healthy and nourishing. You'd also be giving daily supplements as part of his routine. If you enjoy - (or are open to learning) to clean, basic cooking, that's a great fit. We're ideally looking for someone who enjoys working with individuals on the spectrum, is patient, grounded and appreciates a balanced, wellness-oriented lifestyle. If you're active, enjoy being outdoors, and find meaning in offering one-on-one support in a relaxed home setting, this could be a great fit. Experience working with individuals with autism is a bonus, but personality and approach matter most.
