Join us and make every day an unforgettable adventure!Job DescriptionAs a Journeyperson HVAC at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge your care and attention to detail will ensure that our guests have a memorable stay in the Canadian Rockies.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for all HVAC related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
  • Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment
  • Preventative maintenance of equipment pertaining to HVAC
  • Ensure all work done in the HVAC department is in compliance with federal and provincial codes and regulations
  • Ensure all power tools are in good and safe working conditions
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule based on volume of business
  • Train and assist the shift maintenance colleagues
  • Assist other trades as they relate to HVAC maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned
QualificationsYour experience and skills include:
  • High school and/or technical school education required
  • Provincial Journeyperson's certificate for Province of Alberta required
  • Background HVAC experience or general knowledge of the trade required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications required ( Word, Excel & Power Point )
  • Gas Fitting Ticket an asset
  • Valid Alberta driver's license required
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
