We are seeking a Shop Floor Support Engineer (Aircraft Assembly) to provide IT support directly on the aircraft production floor. Unlike traditional IT roles, this position focuses on supporting manufacturing systems and shop floor devices to ensure seamless operations of the assembly line. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility for shifts and on-call support.Job Title: Shop Floor Support Engineer
Location: Mirabel, QCMust Haves:4-6 years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or shop floor environmentHands-on knowledge of shop floor devices: barcode scanners, printers, smart devices, MRTs, and endpointsStrong understanding of manufacturing systems and line-side IT supportProficiency with ServiceNow (incident, change, request management)Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues on the assembly lineExperience coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and managers to resolve issuesStrong communication skills; must be fluent in Spanish & EnglishFlexibility for shift rotations, extended hours, weekends, and on-call supportLocal citizenship required due to ITAR restrictionsThis is an onsite role on the aircraft assembly floor ensuring uninterrupted production operations.
