Commercial Electrical Service Technician

- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency service on commercial electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair power distribution, lighting, controls, and motor control equipment
- Service and maintain panels, breakers, transformers, MCCs, and branch circuits
- Complete electrical installations including EV charging infrastructure, lighting upgrades, panel replacements, and service upgrades
- Support HVAC and BAS teams with electrical troubleshooting and commissioning activities
- Complete accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with clients
- Participate in a rotating on-call service schedule
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Red Seal Electrician (BC) or registered apprentice progressing toward certification
- Electrical FSR (Class B)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical service experience
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of commercial electrical systems and controls
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure considered an asset
- BAS, controls, or HVAC electrical experience considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Professional, customer-focused communication skills
- Comfortable using mobile devices for service reporting and scheduling
- Union wages per IBEW 213 agreement
- Competitive total wage package range $65.51/hr - $72.21/hr based on experience and certifications
