- Valuation Advisory Services
- Our team has been involved with some of the largest and most challenging real estate valuations for the purposes of disposition, purchase price allocation of multi-billion dollar transactions, shareholder disputes, butterfly transactions, litigation and restructuring.
- Transaction Advisory Services
- We provide an integrated service offering that supports the client through every step of the transaction process from strategy development through to transaction execution and closing.
- Development and maintenance of financial models.
- Valuation of various types of real estate assets and portfolios in support of various types of engagements including core valuation/appraisals, litigation, due-diligence and transactions.
- Synthesize market information to be used in valuation, appraisals, competitive analysis, industry analysis, negotiation support and various other applications.
- Compiling and analyzing relevant company and industry information, originating from a broad variety of sources (such as financial databases, industry publications, financial statements and public disclosures)
- Continuous review of Canadian real estate market trends.
- Support the team in the preparation of both internal and external presentations.
- Support the team in business development and marketing initiatives across the country.
- Willingness to support a broad range of advisory and transaction mandates where valuation and underwriting expertise is required.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the real estate industry
- An AACI designation or active enrolment as an AIC candidate working towards the AACI designation is required
- Experience with various types of real estate, including retail, industrial, office, multi-family and land
- Undergraduate degree (preferably with a focus on real estate and/or finance)
- A strong understanding of the commercial real estate industry in Canada
- Working knowledge of Argus is an asset
- Strong project management skills
- Strong computer and financial modeling skills
- Understanding of key real estate value drivers, risks and opportunities
- Ability to work in a team environment
