Ready to suit up as a Security Guard in Thunder BayWe are looking for a motivated Security Guard to join our growing team in an exciting and rewarding position. This position requires ability to pass security clearance, specialized testing and ability to drive a marked vehicle. This location is an exciting location, has great activity and will provide a vibrant and diverse workday. This role will see you providing an exceptional customer service experience to while ensuring staff, patrons and contractors remain safe. Responsibilities for a Security Guard
  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
  • Document incidents and actions taken
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
Qualifications for a Security Guard
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification
  • Ability to stand and walk entire shift
