Description :Lubrication TechnicianHigh Prairie, AlbertaOur Lubrication Technicians use modern technology to ensure optimum lubrication of all equipment so that we can safely and reliably produce high quality OSB.We’re looking for Lubrication Technician to join our High Prairie OSB Division, located in High Prairie, Alberta. Our mill recently undergone a major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press which makes us the most modern mill in North America.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
  • Progression through the four levels of the MLT/MLA certification process is required.
  • A minimum of grade 12 education, a trade, and/or post- secondary education.
  • Related industry experience will be considered an asset.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (All candidates will be subject to Trades Pre-employment testing).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a team focused approach is required.
  • Organizational and time management skills are required.

  • Perform lubrication and preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the mill.
  • Assist in developing and implementing lubrications standards and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to support reliability goals.
  • Maintain lubricant inventory and ensure proper storage.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
