Inside Sales Representative – Plumbing Wholesaler - GTAWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our plumbing wholesale team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for contractors, builders, and walk-in customers, providing expert product knowledge, accurate order processing, and outstanding service. You will work closely with the outside sales team, purchasing, and warehouse staff to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth sales operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and counter inquiries from customers, providing prompt and professional service
  • Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and technical specifications
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and track shipments
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, fittings, and tools
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with contractors, tradespeople, and vendors
  • Support outside sales with customer follow-up and coordination
  • Resolve customer issues and provide after-sales support as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to fulfill orders
  • Keep up to date with market trends, new products, and promotions
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in plumbing wholesale, distribution, or building materials preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient with order entry systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with plumbing terminology and products is a strong asset
