Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong.JOB PROFILE: Sr. Maintenance CoordinatorREPORTS TO: Manager, Controls & EnergyROLE MANDATE:Stewarding resources to ensure high standards of quality in Loblaw & Shoppers Drug Mart infrastructure, and services while maintaining strong professional relationships with regional maintenance managers, store managers/associates/franchisees and all other internal stakeholders.CORE ACCOUNTABILITIESESCALATIONS, PM & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
  • Handle escalations from stores, DMs, RMMs, and vendors, ensuring timely resolution of ongoing issues.
  • Investigate recurring or complex problems, gathering relevant data and coordinating with stakeholders to address root causes.
  • Work with stakeholders to coordinate changes to preventive maintenance (PM) schedules as required.
  • Coordinate and track regulatory compliance projects, including Fire Protection, Elevator/Escalator/Movator, and Life Safety Generators.
  • Actively monitor the regulatory compliance inbox, reviewing inquiries and documentation to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Track inspection schedules, coordinate regulatory audits, and ensure corrective actions are completed and documented.
  • Ensure all compliance-related activities are documented, tracked, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & TESTING:
  • Identify and report system enhancements or defects in the Officetrax system.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new enhancements.
  • Maintain defect and enhancement tracker to ensure timely resolution and deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support workflow improvements and system efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and patience are essential for effectively resolving system and process issues.
PROCESS & PROJECTS:
  • Identify operational and systematic efficiencies, and document SOPs, guides, and process improvements.
  • Maintain central document repository and assist with vendor compliance portal validation when required.
RELEVANT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Initiative and judgment to organize and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to review data, identify trends, and coordinate solutions across multiple stakeholders.
  • Display tact, diplomacy, patience, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience with workorder management systems is an asset.
  • Master Data management is an asset.
  • Experience and knowledge of trades is an asset.
