We are seeking a dedicated and responsible housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality cleaning services and maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in private residences. A key requirement is the ability to travel independently within Ottawa and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and washing windows.
- Ensure that all areas of the house, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas, are clean and organized.
- Laundry duties including washing, folding, and ironing clothes.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handles.
- Assist with occasional grocery shopping or running errands as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the homeowner or management.
- Adhere to safety and cleaning standards to ensure the environment remains safe and healthy.
- Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Valid drivers license and access to a reliable car (must be able to travel independently within Ottawa).
- Must have a current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) or be willing to undergo one prior to employment.
- Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or related fields is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
