This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inbound and outbound inquiries, providing coverage recommendations, and writing new personal insurance policies including home, travel, and umbrella coverage.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHandle inbound and outbound client calls through the Client Service CentrePerform front-line underwriting in accordance with company guidelinesAssess client needs and provide appropriate insurance coverage recommendationsProactively contact clients to obtain renewal informationWrite new home, travel, and umbrella policies and cross-sell additional insurance productsSupport clients with remarketing, new business, renewals, and policy endorsementsManage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances as requiredMaintain accurate and up-to-date client records as changes occurDeliver a high level of customer service while consistently meeting sales and performance targetsProvide support and guidance to the Personal Insurance Team, including branch locationsRespond to client inquiries by providing policy and coverage information in a clear and timely mannerPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?As a successful candidate you will possess the following characteristics:The ability to work independently as well as within a teamExcellence communication skills, written and orallyOutstanding client service skillsREQUIREMENTSLevel 2 General Insurance License or Level 1 General Insurance License with a commitment to obtain Level 2 within 6 monthsMinimum 1 year of auto insurance experience1–2 years of customer service experienceWHAT DO WE VALUE?Entrepreneurship – We encourage innovation and educated risk-tasking.Integrity – We do the right thing every time.Teamwork – We work together to maximize results.Accountability – We measure and take responsibility for outcomes.Service – We serve our customers, communities and colleagues.The expected salary range for this position is $47,000 to $60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
