- Set up, operate, maintain machine tools (e.g. CNC mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses) to shape and assemble mold components
- Interpret and work from technical blueprints, CAD models, and design specifications to plan mold fabrication
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and repair existing molds and tooling, performing corrective adjustments as needed
- Perform regular quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure molds meet tolerances
- Document fabrication and maintenance activities, maintain mold inventories, and update repair histories
- Uphold workplace safety and housekeeping standards, adhering to health, safety, and operational procedures
- 3+ years of hands-on-experience in mold-making, tool and die work, or mold maintenance roles.
- Post Secondary Education in Tool & Die Making, Precision Machining, CAD/Tool Design or related field
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or certification program
- Practical experience in diagnosing mold defects, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Prior work in a manufacturing setting, repairing and optimizing injections molds
- Deep understanding of mold-making processes
