- Lead and mentor a team of Process Engineers, supporting professional development and performance excellence.
- Provide oversight and direction to the Maintenance department, ensuring effective execution of a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program.
- Drive improvements in safety, process efficiency, and manufacturing quality across forging and machining operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product launches, process design, tooling, and cost estimation.
- Develop and manage budgets for engineering and maintenance functions, including capital expenditure planning and project justification.
- Support and sustain manufacturing best practices in line with industry standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, including QS/TS systems, FMEA, and SPC.
- Analyze operational issues and implement technical solutions to reduce downtime, waste, and variation.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in automotive manufacturing, including leadership of engineering and/or maintenance teams.
- Strong background in process engineering, with hands-on involvement in forging processes; exposure to machining is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to preventive maintenance programs and asset reliability strategies.
- Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies such as QS/TS standards, FMEA, and SPC.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- Valid Passport and Driver's License (occasional travel may be required).
