We also have a part time Saturday and Sunday RN Lead 6:30am-14:30pm available. and Part time RN evening -2 on 4 off rotation .As a Clinical Lead, you will:
  • Provide an environment to the residents, staff and visitors that is safe, secure, healthy and happy leading to excellence and quality of care
  • Provide a high level of leadership supporting care, nursing, dietary, maintenance and housekeeping staff
  • Provide a high level of clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff
  • Facilitate and promote the interdisciplinary approach within the home through the nursing, dietary, recreation, housekeeping and maintenance departments

  • Graduate of a recognized school of nursing and currently registered Nurse(RN or RPN) with BCCNM
  • Two (2) years nursing experience in Continuing Care Sector (Dementia care and End of Life care would be an advantage)
Skills and Abilities:
  • Must possess the personal qualities and attitudes that respect and maintain the spirit, dignity and individuality of the residents
  • Must have a commitment to excellence in Care of the older person in a Continuing Care environment
  • Must be committed and an understanding of working with residents with dementia and end of life journeys
  • Shows a caring and considerate attitude to residents, visitors and staff
  • Must have proven leadership and team-building skills and be able to motivate staff

We also have Point Grey Private Hospital and Braddan Private Hospital in which we need these positions filled.This expanded and updated heritage home will offer 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River and towering trees. Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island. This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a modern care environment with a throw back to Vancouver’s heritage. Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. We offer 58 subsidized care beds and 32 private pay.#HP
