- Managing priorities and day to day activities of the on-site Stores team
- Managing on-site execution and material interfaces with the Aviation Engineering team.
- Coordinating all material activities including deconflicting material demands against maintenance schedule requirements, and appropriate warehousing.
- Optimising the flow and transport of goods to and from bases as well as suppliers. Prioritising transportation mode based on the needs of the business and proactively managing bottlenecks.
- Ensuring the quarantine of non-conforming aircraft parts and materials.
- Managing the development of material supply requirements in support of aircraft operational and maintenance schedules.
- Resolving quality and technical inspection issues regarding aviation parts.
- Training and competency assessing new team members to ensure procedures are followed; and updating documents for review with line management as needed.
- Controlling the release and issue of parts and material including dangerous goods; and provision of shelf-life control reports.
- Co-ordinating core returns, monitoring parts requests, and communicating any delays.
- Monitoring inventory stock levels.
- Working in CAMP, the Maintenance Tracking Software.
- Ensuring Aircraft on Ground items are prioritized, and delivery arrangements finalized.
- Developing and maintaining a close working relationship with Aviation customers and stakeholders.
- Preparing appropriate reporting of KPIs, parts and materials, as necessary to support the business unit.
- Reporting all safety hazards or concerns through the Safety Management System (SMS) system.
- Participating in all training as assigned including but not limited to Human Factors, Ladder & Lifting, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
- This position will be in an on-call rotation after business hours.

- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent (a Degree/Diploma in a related field would be considered an asset).
- You have experience managing an Aviation Stores team.
- 5 years or more experience in the Aviation industry with an understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and parts certifications.
- Experience preparing and processing documents for International & U.S. shipments.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with subject matter experts, colleagues, and suppliers.
- You are a positive, resilient, and focused individual.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- You are eligible for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and ITAR Clearance.
