Competitive compensation, practical travel allowances, excellent benefits, and RSP support reflect our commitment to the people who keep this operation running.Job Description:Reporting to the Mine General Foreman, the successful candidate will work a 14 days on, 14 days off rotation at the Lac des Iles mine site.Responsibilities:
Daily supervision of the underground workforce in conjunction with safely meeting daily production plans
Monitor and apply company safety procedures
Ensure that the underground workforce is in compliance with Ontario Mines regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Preparation of daily reports
Oversee drilling and blasting
Identify training needs and provide training to employeesQualifications:Qualifications:
Five years hard rock mining experience at a supervisory role, preferred experience in blast-hole/ long-hole applications
Basic Ontario Hard Rock Common Core and Ontario Supervisory Common Core required
Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
