Line Worker- $20.49 PER HOUR

Main Duties:

Scale, record and load meat onto conveyors
Assist in emptying mixer and loading spice onto conveyor
Work on Stuffing line to press and load product unto racks
De-cage product from presses
Complete all checklists correctly in a timely manner
Pushing & pulling of skids and racks
Ensure Health & Safety policy and all compliance processes are adhered to.
Ensure all Quality processes and procedures (including GMP, HACCP) are fully complied with.
Maintain process on a day-to-day basis and achieve set target and yield rates at minimum cost.
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all relevant areas of the Plant Shall be capable of working in other positions and maintain the speeds of the line as set by the documented standards.
Carry out any other duties requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications and working conditions

Good communication skills, both written and spoken English
Attention to detail with basic computer skills and strong leadership skills.
Capable of lifting 25kg
Require to stand for 8 hours with some lifting and bending
Ability to follow and execute instructions given by mangers/supervisors
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Knowledge of all Stuffing and meat preparation equipment and processes are required.
Work in conditions under 10˚C.
Mainly indoor, with some outdoor.
