Our client is seeking a seasoned Compensation Consultant to join their Vancouver-based team on a contract basis. While the role is remote, BC-based candidates are preferred. The need is immediate.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a strong communicator, and able to work independently. Experience in financial institutions is a strong asset. You will support the business by advising on compensation for all levels of non-union positions.What you will be doing:Partner with the Manager, Compensation and Retirement to develop and execute compensation programs and project plans.Lead the annual compensation cycle, including:Salary increasesIncentive and bonus payoutsCompensation reportingRestructuresReview of plans and salary survey participationProvide expert advice and coaching on compensation to business leaders and HR partners.Conduct training sessions on compensation topics as needed.Evaluate compensation policies and structures to ensure compliance and alignment with market best practices and legislative requirements.Provide strategic recommendations based on industry trends and analytics.Coach and mentor team members on compensation fundamentals and internal processes.Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
