- Evaluate and assess patients’ communication skills. You’ll develop individualized treatment plans that support a wide variety of patients and conditions, including phonological disorders, aphasia, fluency disorders, apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, language facilitation, cognitive-communication, voice disorders, acquired dyslexia, and more.
- Deliver exceptional care that is evidence-based, psychologically informed, and patient-centred. You’ll help educate individuals and their families about supportive communication strategies and acquired communication disorders.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Psychologists, Clinical Counselors, and more when indicated.
- Collaborate with third party insurance funders, employers, and other relevant stakeholders. You’ll maintain related reports, records in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Keep growing. You’ll stay current with the latest evidence, findings, trends, and developments to ensure clients receive the best possible care, and attend other educational opportunities available at Tall Tree.
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). You have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Clinical Excellence: You have a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a commitment to mastering skills. You hold a profound respect for the complexity of human experience.
- Ideally, you have experience in Pediatric Speech Pathology, with a focus on language disorders, articulation, and fluency with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
