- - Support senior engineers with heavy and light rail related engineering drawings, contract documents, quantity/cost calculations, and coordination tasks;
- - Work with tight schedules, be flexible, and maintain a very high quality for all assigned work;
- - Support project tasks, based on an understanding of the project scope, schedule, and budget, under the direction of project Managers and Coordinators;
- - Perform drafting tasks in Civil 3D;
- - Assist with report writing;
- - Assist with other transit related projects;
- - Facilitate meetings with designers and clients to discuss and manage track interfaces for complex Rail & Transit projects;
- - Perform general office duties, such as assisting with the preparation of proposals;
- - Some field work may be required; and
- - Other duties as assigned/required
- Enrolled in a Civil Engineering Co-op program (preferably 3rd or 4th year students);
- Excellent academic record;
- Excellent technical, analytical writing, and presentation skills;
- Familiar with MS Office, Excel, Autocad and Civil 3D;
- Strong communication skills verbal and written;
- Willingness to learn;
- And a proven ability to work successfully in multi-disciplinary teams.
