2. In conjunction with COO, plan and develop operational processes, structures and teams to achieve program goals.
3. Contribute to the design and development of research protocols; designs implementation plan for research protocol.
4. Leads and directs the study team in the implementation of research protocol and implementation plan.
5. Participate in contract negotiations including the development of the study scope of work.
6. Lead and direct national and international group meetings and planning sessions for scientific collaboration; prepare and present study results at large international scientific meetings
7. Monitor and control timelines to ensure completion of study activities on schedule.
8. Manage and allocate study personnel resources to research studies and across the program; Provide guidance and direction to study team in developing solutions to study challenges.
9. Identify required staff and prepare job postings, conduct interviews and hire qualified staff.
10. Develop, implement and control study budgets. This includes both industry funding and grants.
11. Advise scientific study lead on budget requirements and negotiate “Investigator fees” with International researchers.
12. Develop strategies to increase efficiency and promote fiscal responsibility.
13. Write and develop – in collaboration with PI’s – grant applications and summariesQualifications1. Master’s Degree in a Science or related Health or Research discipline.
2. Minimum 7-10 years of international pharma industry collaboration and clinical research coordination.
3. Minimum 7-10 years of human resource management and project management experience
4. Previous multi-centre international trial management experience.
5. Experience managing large datasets.
6. Business and Scientific writing skills
