
Senior Commercial Regional Account Manager – OEM HVAC-R Manufacturer

- Target, and close large-scale projects in commercial HVAC applications.
- Assist in designing systems, and solutions for major building projects alongside an dedicated internal engineering team.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and developers to generate mechanical design specs using OEM products.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to secure product commitment.
- Deliver effective seminars on system design, applications, and product benefits.
- Provide engineering support to channel partners and clients through site visits and technical consultations.
- Promote product value by clearly communicating features, benefits, and industry expertise.
- Plan and submit weekly customer visit schedules and follow-up actions to leadership as needed.
- Track and report on market activity, project status, pricing, and sales pipeline.
- Provide regular sales updates including progress toward goals, follow-ups, and closing activities.
- Respond to RFQs/RFIs, participate in industry events, and maintain organized customer records.
- Drive sales growth through professional engagement with new and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs and deliver tailored HVAC solutions.
- Address client concerns and recommend strategies for long-term resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to meet customer project requirements.
- A minimum of 5+ years experience in outside technical sales within the Commercial HVAC space
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (prefer a P.ENG..but not required)
- Demonstrated success in supporting and consulting engineers with mechanical HVAC-R system designs tied to equipment specifications.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet Explorer.
- Understanding of how to read & interpret construction drawings.
- Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
- Willing to travel within the province and overnight across Canada for meetings, training, and product launches (25% travel expectation)
- Initiative to prospect for new business with a track-record of success managing a key account book of business within a territory.
- Possess the people-skills to build relationships within the industry - networking is important.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attend trade shows as requested.
- Ability to support demand and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time and organizational skills - ability to juggle multiple 'to do list' items.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's Licence
