- Collaborate with the Analytics Architect and Senior Analytics Reporting Specialist to deliver consistent analytics branding, and create engaging, user-friendly reports and dashboards across the organization.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Support analytics change management initiatives to drive adoption and enable better decision-making across the business.
- Contribute to the integration and optimization of analytics tools, including third-party software and services.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting activities are completed, proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
- Act as an analytics advocate, building strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to promote data-driven thinking.
- Deliver end-user training and facilitate report and dashboard walkthroughs to enhance usability and adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with two years of experience in an analytics role focused on building reports and dashboards to support business performance.
- Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI (Desktop and Service), with intermediate DAX skills and experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Exposure to data mining and predictive analytics, with familiarity in tools/languages such as R or Python; experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or big data environments is an asset.
- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and a focus on delivering a strong end-user experience.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into effective analytics solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with delivery methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and/or waterfall.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A creative, big-picture thinker who can also execute with precision.
- Experience working on projects of varying size and complexity, delivering to defined timelines and quality standards.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred; familiarity with Hardware, Lumber, and Building Materials (LBM) retail and distribution is an asset.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
- The expected starting salary range for this role is $69,800 - $91,600; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
