Ready to bring your best?Overview of the RoleReporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and functionally aligned with the Environmental Specialist, the WWTP Technician is responsible for aiding plant engineers and inventory control within the maintenance team.Salary$39.00 per hourHow you will make contributions that matter:

To facilitate the timely and efficient assistance of preventive and predictive maintenance on production, wastewater plant, warehouse equipment, utilities and assist in building maintenance.
To aid MRO in inventory control of maintenance supplies.
To work with other trades group, vendors, and contractors to complete project assignments as required.
Take and record readings from instruments such as flowmeters, pH meters, pressure gauges and HMI.
Perform routine tasks of wastewater treatment plant including measuring of pH, solids, calibration of probes and sensors etc. and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation of wastewater plant.
Receive Bulk chemical loads, sending the sludge and washing the equipment in the WWTP.
Aiding in the investigation of chemical and hazardous waste spills that may have entered wastewater collection systems or other storm drainage systems.
Assisting in the preparation of reports by producing data and maintain operational logs.
Will work on proper documentation of work performed, parts used, time sheets and all the required HACCP documents.
Ability to act as Plant Power Engineer in a crisis situation.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

4th class power engineering certification or Steam Boiler experience
Primarily scheduled for day shifts, with flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
Proven hands-on experience within food industry or high-speed packaging plant (preferred)
Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience
Refrigeration and air handling systems experience
Performance of other duties as required
Other duties as assigned as per Article 1.03.
