The role of Site Superintendent in the construction industry involves overseeing all aspects of construction projects to ensure they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. With projects across Canada and the United States, this position focuses on managing on-site activities and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors and trades to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for site-related communication, addressing questions, concerns, and updates.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain adherence to design specifications and codes.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or delays promptly to maintain project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and site logs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, enforcing protocols to create a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

  • Proven experience in construction management or site supervision within the industrial buildings construction industry in a general contracting / design build environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
