Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 Base + Commission
On-Target Earnings:Year 1: ~$100,000
Year 2: ~$160,000
Year 3+: $200,000+About the RoleWe are seeking a driven Account Representative to manage and grow a Southwest Ontario territory for a Canadian manufacturer of industrial packaging products. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on building a territory, prospecting new business, and developing long-term relationships with manufacturers.This is an outside sales role where you will spend the majority of your time prospecting, visiting customers, and developing new accounts across your territory.What You'll Do
Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector
Build and grow relationships with industrial customers across Southwest Ontario
Conduct 50-60 calls/touches per day (200+ weekly) to generate new leads
Secure 5-6 new accounts per month
Conduct on-site client meetings to understand packaging and shipping requirements
Provide consultative solutions for packaging consumables and related products
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Maintain CRM records and sales reports
Plan and coordinate territory visits and customer meetingsWhat We're Looking For
3-5+ years of outside B2B sales experience selling to manufacturers
Experience in industrial sales, packaging, manufacturing supplies, or industrial distribution
Proven ability to prospect and build a territory from scratch
Strong hunter mentality - self-sourcing leads and generating new business
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage a territory and work independently
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM systems
Valid Ontario driver's licence and clean driving abstract
Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)Nice to Have
Experience selling packaging consumables such as:
Steel strapping
Polyester or polypropylene strapping
Stretch wrap
Edge protection
Existing relationships with manufacturers in Southwest Ontario
Experience with packaging equipment salesCompensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
Commission: 3% - 10% depending on product
Car Allowance: $1,000 per month
Mileage Reimbursement
Phone Allowance: $50/month
Internet Allowance: $50/month
