- A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River).
- Stations:
- One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station.
- Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations.
- Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown).
- Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time.
- Reduce crowding on the existing Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway.
- Up to 57,000 more jobs accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents.
- Economic and community growth along the future transit line and thousands of job opportunities annually during construction.
- Reduction in traffic congestion, greenhouse gases, and fuel consumption by providing an alternative transportation option.
- Assist the Integration Manager in managing and coordinating MEP Services with Civil and Architectural trades including the Rolling stock Systems.
- Manage progress reporting for MEP Integration Management.
- Collaborate and coordinate MEP works with internal stakeholders such as CTO (Construction Technical Office), BIM Coordinators and Design teams.
- Support with MEP related questions on design documentation and subcontractor shop drawings.
- Manage spatial coordination which includes clash detection and reports while ensuring appropriate rules and standards are compliant.
- Participate in MEP Integration weekly meeting with key stakeholders and leadership.
- Review RSSOM Federated BIM Models and conduct clash detection analysis.
- Prioritize multidisciplinary coordination (MEP, Civil, Architecture) with site team and project managers.
- Conduct MEP coordination in congested areas such as corridors, technical rooms, etc.
- Create typical sections with the support of the BIM Team.
- Mitigate challenges with MEP coordination works within Civil and Architectural teams.
- Coordinate the MEP openings in main structure and partition walls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in MEP coordination or similar engineering functions.
- Strong hands-on experience with BIM modeling, including proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Prior experience reviewing shop drawings and supporting full MEP coordination processes is considered an asset.
- Experience working on international projects, with a clear advantage for those involved in railway or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Direct involvement in project completion and handover activities, with a solid understanding of documentation and closeout procedures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to work systematically, independently, and with minimal supervision. Skilled in report writing, group presentations, and collaboration facilitation.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Comprehensive, hands-on understanding of MEP coordination standards, practices, and implementation methods.
- Broad technical knowledge of the railway environment, including MEP, Civil, and Architectural engineering interfaces.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, build positive working relationships, and foster team synergy.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in all aspects of work.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Revit, and AutoCAD.
