- Set the vision and strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that delivers consistent bookings, revenue, margin, and recurring service growth in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead a high-performance team: Recruit, develop, and inspire Sales Executives and Managers; create succession plans; instill a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Drive measurable results: Achieve growth targets with a disciplined focus on pipeline coverage (4×+), forecast accuracy (±10%), and customer retention/expansion.
- Expand market presence: Build C-level relationships with customers and strategic partners; develop industry vertical strategies and named-account plans to increase market share and wallet share.
- Strengthen execution and governance: Ensure rigorous CRM use, sales methodology adoption, and effective inspection cadence across all regions.
- Partner for growth: Collaborate with Operations, Global Accounts, Vertical Markets and Service teams to ensure seamless customer delivery, competitive positioning, and brand consistency.
- Represent Convergint externally: Serve as an executive face of Convergint with key customers, manufacturers, and at industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive sales experience with 10+ years in leadership, including multi-region or global responsibilities.
- Proven record of exceeding bookings/revenue goals in complex, solution-based environments.
- Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills with C-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of sales process discipline, pipeline management, and structured methodologies.
- Financial and strategic acumen to manage large-scale contracts and profitability.
- Experience in integrated technologies (electronic security, fire/life safety, building automation, healthcare solutions) strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively to engage with customers, partners, and teams.
