Job Title:Physician (Consultant) in Allergy and ImmunologyWork Site:Vancouver General HospitalStatus:Full-TimeStart Date:As Soon As PossibleCompensation Type:Fee-for-ServiceCome work as a Physician Consultant with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!Clinical Immunology and Allergy is a subspecialty of Internal Medicine providing clinical care for patients atopic disease, medication allergies and immunodeficiencies. We work closely with other specialties as well as pharmacy to provide care to both inpatients and outpatients.Covering call 1 in 6 weeks.
  • Reviewing consults with residents
  • Attend divisional rounds, M and M rounds, grand rounds etc.
QualificationsEducation, Licensing, & Experience:
  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) – Desired
  • Candidate needs to be Royal College certified in either adult or pediatric allergy and immunology (we are dual certified)
  • Interest in medical education
