Brief Description:Our employer is looking for a candidate with relevant experience as well as adequate computer skills for an office environment.Job Function:
- Assist the senior partner in reviewing emails, prioritizing emails, meeting with senior partner to review and obtain instructions re emails, opening files, delegating files to associates and diarizing accordingly.
- Respond to client queries by telephone and email
- Assist in docketing work done on files, to drafting and finalizing pre-bills and final bills, to sending out accounts and to follow up on account receivable
- Draft and respond to compliance letters,
- Draft and register condominium documents in the land registry office
- Obtain parcel searches from the land registry office
- Issue notices of Lien and register Certificates of Lien
- Assist in drafting pleadings and filing of same electronically
- Draft Requests for Proposals
- Assist on Condominium Authority Tribunal applications and responses
Job Requirement:
- Experience in the legal field
- Knowlesge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of relevant software: Soluno, Net Docs, Teranet
